There are some drivers that tend to test the speed limits on the South Dakota highways. One South Dakota driver over late Friday afternoon really pushed a deputy officer from the Turner County Sheriff's Office to its breaking point.

A 15-year-old driver was cruising on South Dakota Highway 46 when he was pulled over for going well over the South Dakota speed limit. The deputy who pulled over the young driver clocked him in at just over 100 miles per hour. He was testing the limits!

The Turner County Sheriff's Office shared a picture on its Facebook page of the driver's speed. He was driving 112 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. But getting a ticket was the least of this driver's problems. He still had one more officer to face...his mother.

Here's what our friends at the Turner County Sheriff's Office had to say about this new driver and his interesting driving habits:

This afternoon, A deputy stop another land jet operating on South Dakota Highway 46. This time it was a 2011 Malibu and was driving at 112 MPH in the 65. The 15 year old pilot was issued a summons for speed and reckless driving. He had his car towed and his mother had to come pick him up.

Besides having his car towed and receiving a ticket, it sounds like his mom might have other consequences for her son's driving actions.

So how old do you have to be to get your driver's license in South Dakota? According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, you "must be at least 14 years of age to obtain an instruction permit." With this permit, drivers must be supervised by a licensed adult at all times. Otherwise, new drivers have to wait until they are 16 years old to obtain their driver's license.

It's simple. Slow down and be mindful of the other drivers around you.

You will need a zoo permit to harbor a raccoon dog. That's a real species. It's a small wild dog with a black facial mask and long fur, native to the forests of Asia.
