For those of you that have children in your lives and you live in town, wouldn't it be nice to be able to take them out to a farm and show them what it's like there.

When I grew up in town as a kid, I had all kinds of access to the farm life with relatives living in the country. But some town kids never saw a farm close up.

Well here's an even better opportunity that you may want to take the kids to. They are bringing the farm to the city for everyone to see.

Attend the 14th annual Ag Day at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls March 18, 2017. The event hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The event will give children and families the opportunity to see live animals and hands on activities to learn more about agriculture in South Dakota.

And here's the real beauty of this event. It's free. Yes, it's free, plus there's lunch and you get free admission to the Kirby Science Discovery Center and mission films in the Wells Fargo CineDome.

For more information on this event and others at the Washington Pavilion, see online.
