During Monday's Police Briefing at the Law Enforcement Center, Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens said a 14-year old girl was attacked over the weekend.

"The girl was walking with some friends in the 1400 Block of North Minnesota Avenue. A person she knows came up behind her and hit her with a stick. Once she went to the ground, the 16-year old male suspect struck her several times in the head with a rock. We know who this person is. We just haven't found him yet. He's likely to face aggravated assault charges."

In another incident, Clemens says a pizza deliveryman's car was ripped off.

"He returned from a delivery and left the keys in his car.  He went into a building and that's when someone stole his car. He happened to find it about a half hour later downtown and when he went to find out who was in the car---the person that was in the stolen car drove it at him and swerved to hit him. Our victim was able to get out of the way. Officers found the car parked a few blocks away."

Clemens says the suspect, 24-year old Tanner Garreau of Sioux Falls, was found and arrested on a whole lost of charges, including grand theft and aggravated assault.
