SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A federal grand jury has indicted a 35-year-old Sioux Falls man on a charge of sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion.

The Argus Leader reports that Michael Lee Dickey is accused of injecting a woman with drugs and forcing her into prostitution. The indictment filed Monday alleges that the victim had been trafficked for more than a year in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls police say that on the night of July 13, Dickey and the victim were in a fight in which the woman was punched and kicked in the head several times. She told officers that Dickey had forced her to have sex with other men more than 100 times during a four- to five-month period.

A message left for Dickey's attorney was not immediately returned.
