SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A 45-year-old man accused of breaking into U.S. Sen. Mike Round's office in Sioux Falls faces charges including burglary and grand theft.

Police say Donald Hallor of Sioux Falls will appear in court Wednesday.

Authorities say Sioux Falls police officers Tuesday evening noticed a broken window at the Republican senator's office, with noises coming from inside and someone observed moving around in the dark building.

As officers waited for management, police say they noticed a man on the roof of a neighborhood business and found Hallor.

A spokeswoman for Rounds didn't immediately return a telephone message requesting comment. It wasn't immediately clear if Hallor has an attorney.
