BOX ELDER, S.D. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the theft of about 20 guns from a Box Elder business, and offering a $10,000 reward for relevant information.

Police say the burglary at the Box Elder Trading Post occurred late on Sept. 8 or early on Sept. 9. The thieves forced their way into the business and took the guns and other items.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to a conviction. The reward amount would be matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
