The Lake Lorraine development at I-29 and 26th Street (behind Lowe's) is going to be 85 acres of shopping, dining and luxury accommodations. Several stores have already been announced like Hobby Lobby, Carters, OshKosh B'gosh, Ross Dress for Less, and DSW. More stores and restaurants will be announced soon.

Most recently, Van Buskirk Companies and Friessen Development announced the addition of Aloft Hotel, a modern, upscale hotel that will be built in the Lake Lorraine development.

The 4-story hotel will feature 107 king and double-queen rooms, a fitness area, indoor pool, lounge area with a pool table, outdoor gathering space that could feature live music and entertainment and the W XYZ bar. Aloft has over 100 locations including Omaha and Minneapolis.
