FX television's hit series 'Fargo' will be set in Sioux Falls for the upcoming season 2, USA Today reports. The second season will chronicle a crime that occurred in Sioux Falls in 1979 that was referenced several times in the first season.

The settings for Season 2 will include Fargo, Luverne and Sioux Falls. "Believe me, we would do 'Fargo: Honolulu' if we could get away with it, but we can't." - executive producer Noah Hawley

The second season, to be filmed starting in January and likely airing in the fall 2015,and is still being filmed in and around Calgary, Canada so don't expect any Billy Bob Thorton sightings in Sioux Falls anytime soon.

"What this next 10-hour movie is going to be is the story of Sioux Falls." said Hawley at the "Fargo" panel at the Television Critics Association press tour.
