A few weeks ago a Sioux Falls Pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint. The hunt for information about the incident just got a little more intense.

Sioux Falls Police in conjunction with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) sent out a press release Thursday. They are seeking information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the July 9, 2016, robbery of the Walgreen’s Pharmacy, at 41st and Louise.

ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. An unidentified male, described as being Hispanic by store employees, displayed a firearm to an employee and passed a note to the employee demanding opioid medication and syringes.

The perpetrator was captured on store surveillance cameras. However, investigators are seeking the public’s help in solving this crime and are hopeful that the reward will provide additional leads in this investigation.

Anyone having information about the robbery should call the toll free ATF hotline at 1¬800¬ATF¬GUNS (1¬800¬283¬4867), or the Sioux Falls Police Department tip line at 605¬367¬7007. Callers may remain anonymous.
