It's a tinker, experiment and imagine fair, for girls! The spark and excitement from EmBe's first Girl's Maker Day was so well received they're having another.

This STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) fair will be held this Saturday (April 22) from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and is geared towards building confidence in making, early exposure to an interdisciplinary approach, and getting girls excited about fields where women are traditionally under-represented.

The fair will feature booths that will help girls explore these academic areas with creativity and innovation.

Vendors will have activities based on chemistry, design thinking, 3D printing, programming, game coding and more. The event is free, in an open house setting, and geared towards girls ages 7 to 13. The first 150 girls to attend will receive a tote bag to decorate.

Find out more about vendors and times on our Facebook event page.
