The Knoxville Nationals sprint car race at Knoxville Raceway at Knoxville, Iowa is the grand daddy of all sprint car racing in the world. It runs every year in August over a four day period.

It draws drivers and fans worldwide. Only the best drivers of all time have won this prestigious event.

There's one driver that really stands out. It's Donny Schatz from Fargo, North Dakota.

Schatz won the 57th Annual Knoxville Nationals Saturday night. It was his tenth time winning in the last 12 years.

He held off a daring attempt by Kyle Larson on the final lap for the win. Larson, by the way, won the NASCAR race the next day at Michigan International Speedway.
