Castlewood Teen Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Northeast South Dakota
A Castlewood teenager died Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Day County, in northeast South Dakota.
The Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Jacob William Dahl was killed when his vehicle struck the back end of a truck that had slowed to make a right turn on US Highway 12, four miles east of Andover.
The driver of the truck, 69-year-old Ronald Blair Prigge of Brownsdale, Minnesota, and his passenger, 71-year-old Howard Arthur Krienke of Minnetonka, Minnesota, were not injured.
The crash was reported at 7:19pm Thursday.
