REDFIELD, S.D. (AP) — A two-vehicle crash east of Redfield has killed a man.

The Highway Patrol says the 25-year-old man was driving a car that failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection on U.S. Highway 212 late Wednesday morning.

The car was struck by a pickup truck, and the man in the car was pronounced dead at the scene 4 miles east of Redfield.

The 37-year-old man driving the pickup suffered only minor injuries.

Authorities did not immediately identify either man.
